Mungano Annual Soul Food Dinner
In honor of Black History month, Mungano held its annual Soul Food Dinner Sunday evening in the cafeteria. Ribs, briskets, baked chicken, baked beans, greens, potato salad, and much more was served and offered. Students came out and enjoyed eating together, while listening to music from the speakers, and playing board games located on the middle of tables. If there’s one thing I miss most about home, it’s the cooking. This was a great reminder of how much I’ve missed it, but it was so refreshing to get a taste again, even if it was just for one meal.
